Nate` Nartey is a cross-disciplinary industrial designer who was born in Monrovia, Liberia in1982. He migrated to the United States at age seven and relocated to New Jersey where he developed his artistic aptitude. At age 16 he was selected to attend a pre-college arts program at the University Of The arts, which he did for two summers; thereafter , he was chosen out of thousands of students to participate in an arts program at Middlesex College. His penchant for aesthetics later led him to New York where he continued his art and design education at Pratt Institute . He received his Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design(B.I.D) in 2005.
Since 2005 , Mark has worked as a freelance designer on a diverse range of projects for small companies and organizations such as Renaissance Carpets, Carpe Diem Deformo, Steelcake Watches, and Harlem Heritage, to name a few. In addition, Mark has designed furniture and accessory pieces; developed branding and graphics for the vibrant street-wear market; and has created t-shirt graphics for the youth market. His flare for bold graphics and his intuitive sense of design make him a designer to look out for.
